  1993 - 1996 - The Farver School Project The Farver School is the oldest frame, one room school in our area. Sheri adopted a community empowerment project to dismantle the school and bring it into town, reconstruct it and turn it into a community library. A library is the only window to a larger world for an Amish child. To the older people in town, the Farver School holds fond memories of an earlier time. The Farver School now sits just behind our depot. When Sheri sees the school children walk by the gallery with their arms full of books, that is her reward for years of hard work.
