  May 18, 1997 - The tornado It was just a little tornado. Thank God no one in town was hurt. Our building was split from peak to foundation, and we almost lost the roof. Many of the rafters had linear splits. The insurance company voted to tear down the building. We told them that wasn’t an option. So we took on the task of restoring the old depot to it’s original form. Return to timeline |
